Inner Chest Workout

Doing an Inner Chest Workout

When working out your chest it is important to have a balanced workout to exercise all sections of the chest. This is why it is important to include an inner chest workout in your exercise routine. You don’t want to have over developed lower chest with little muscle on your inner chest. You also don’t want a too muscular upper chest and no muscle in the lower area. This means it is important that you vary the chest exercises you perform during your workout. The inner chest workout is very important because you don’t want a big gap without muscle near the center of your chest.

Some important chest exercises are:

Cable crossovers – This one requires a machine so that means you will need a gym membership or to purchase one. To perform the exercise you hold one handle attached to a cable in each hand behind you and push down and towards your chest.

Bench Press – This is a very common one, lying on your back on a bench hold a barbell with each hand and push in up, bring it down etc.

Dumbbell fly’s – lying on your back with one dumbbell in each hand make a wing-like motion, moving dumb bells straight up, down to the sides and back up.
